Our aim is to raise money so we can take our play ‘Dinner’ to Edinburgh Fringe and put on the best show possible!

About Dinner
Dinner is a proudly female-led play performing at Exeter University and Edinburgh Fringe.
Get ready to dine on some deliciously dark entertainment as hostess extraordinaire, Paige, is throwing a dinner party to celebrate her husband. A microbiologist, a newsreader and a bohemian artist are on their way to ‘Dinner’ along with a surprise guest! Paige has also hired a silent waiter to execute her dinner party with impeccable grace. As the evening unfolds, tensions simmer and secrets are revealed. Buffini's razor-sharp wit is brought to life by Exeter University Theatre Company as this gripping production offers a provocative exploration of class, power, and morality. This is the dinner party that everyone wants to watch but no one wants to be invited to. Don’t miss your chance to feast on this unmissable evening of comedy, chaos and destruction!
About EUTCo
Exeter University Theatre Company, fondly known as EUTCo, is one of the largest and longest running theatre societies at the university. Our goal is to get students involved in directing, producing, stage management, technical management, and performing professional quality drama. The society provides a platform to produce innovative and high quality student theatre, in an effort to entertain and inspire the rest of the student body and the larger community in Exeter. EUTCo also offers a number of industry led workshops for members and non-members to further provide theatrical opportunities for students.
Our Previous Productions
In the past few years, EUTCo have produced a diverse range of productions, and have been fortunate enough in recent years to give students the opportunity to work in touring productions, primarily based at the Edinburgh Fringe. We are incredibly grateful to TheSpaceUK for giving us the opportunity to perform at their spaces in Edinburgh.
In 2021 our production of 'The Amber Trap', toured the south of England (due to COVID restrictions) - despite it originally being designed for Edinburgh Fringe, it was met with very positive acclaim, and allowed us to facilitate Fringe tours for the upcoming years. In both 2022 (Ideation) and 2023 (Vino Veritas), EUTCo have brought productions to the Edinburgh Fringe, receiving high plaudits from critics, theatre-goers and fellow students.
Outside of the Edinburgh Fringe, we aim to put on high quality productions in Exeter each academic year. Recent productions include: Lord of The Flies (2019), The Great Gatsby (2020), A Woman in Mind (2021), Nora: A Doll's House (2022), Frankenstein (2023), Eigengrau (2023) and Alice (2024). Our upcoming third term/summer season is set to be one of our finest to date, bringing Dinner to both Kay House (Exeter, 3rd - 5th June) and TheSpace On The Mile (Edinburgh, 12th - 24th August); also bringing Arthur Miller's The Crucible to The Hall (Exeter, 11th - 13th June).
