We're still collecting donations
On the 6th June 2021 we'd raised £70 with 3 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We're looking to raise funds to kickstart our business and also help fund our charity projects focusing on education and climate change.

On the 6th June 2021 we'd raised £70 with 3 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We are an eco-friendly, sustainable brand that is bridging the gap between quality sports apparel and social causes.
We ethically manufacture our clothing using fair-trade and freedom alliance certified suppliers, that through their own channels also support environmental, social and human causes.
At the heart of everything we do, are two main causes. The first aims to instill sustainable infrastructure to schools in Zimbabwe with the goal is improve facilities and enable children to gain access to good quality education easily.
The second cause aims to tackle sustainability and the environment through reforestation efforts in Africa and funding research into climate change.
So where do our clothes come from?
We’ve teamed up with a manufacturer in Nepal called Purnna, an ethical manufacturing unit in Kathmandu. They are a social enterprise who reinvest their profits towards creating training and job opportunities for survivors of abuse, exploitation and those discriminated against.
At Purnaa, employees receive fair wages, literacy classes, life-skills training, health care and pension, all in a positive work environment. All employees' children are also eligible for school scholarships. In doing this, Purnaa empowers the next generation to become less vulnerable to exploitation and to break free from the cycle of poverty.
Purnaa is Fair Trade guaranteed by the WFTO and strives to use as sustainable materials as possible, making sure their fabric is responsibly sourced and environmentally sustainable.
Our products are made from a mixture of organic ringspun cotton, recycled polyester, recycled nylon and recycled spandex. These materials have been specifically chosen due to their individual qualities that make them the perfect choice for functional activewear made to last:
Cotton - Soft, durable, breathable, versatile and easy to care for.
Nylon - Wicks moisture and dries quickly; also excellent abrasion & wear resistance.
Polyester - a synthetic blend known to be a reliable moisture-wicking fabric. When blended with other materials, polyester is an ideal choice for active wear because it is breathable, lightweight and quick-drying.
Our commitment to you is to produce quality products with full transparency on their journey from sourcing into your hands - leaving you to simply focus on getting out there and enjoying them.
Why we do what we do:
As mentioned earlier, people are at the heart of everything we do. We will run a trust alongside the business, the Verillium Foundation, which will be our own social enterprise vehicle. 10% of all profits will go to the trust, which will directly fund projects that focus on our two important missions: education and the environment.
When it comes to education, simply giving aid is not the answer. Creating infrastructure and promoting self-sufficiency is, however, a big step in the right direction and more sustainable. With this in mind, the foundation will be working with a school and small community in Zimbabwe, who have recently been hit hard with the challenging economic climate. The trust will be funding a grinding mill allowing the school to generate its own income, which in turn can be reinvested into educational facilities alongside our donation of laptops.
Our second mission for the foundation will be combating environmental issues. Forests are one of Earth’s essential ecosystems, home to more than 80% of terrestrial biodiversity and critical in cleaning the air, cooling the planet and creating homes for millions of animals. As such, we have partnered with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organisation focused on global reforestation. Every tree can make a difference, and for every product purchased, two trees will be planted in Africa. We will also be off-setting our carbon footprint by working with Ecologi to become carbon positive as a company.
Where your money goes:
With the money we’re raising through this campaign, we will be able to fully fund our first collection, the Kutanga. This will consist of a men’s training t-shirt and shorts and a women’s sports bra and leggings combination.
We will also be spending 25% of that money on starting the foundation projects in Zimbabwe. The school’s facilities are a priority with the new term coming up so we’re looking to get this going as soon as possible!
So please come and join the tribe and let us help you get healthy and fit whilst tackling what’s important in this world!
We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see our Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
