What you will be doing
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Assistance:
- Greet festival attendees with a warm and friendly demeanor, offering information about the event schedule, locations of stages, food vendors, and bathrooms.
- Answer any questions guests may have, directing them to specific areas of the festival.
- Assist attendees with any issues or concerns, ensuring a positive experience throughout the festival.
Ticketing & Entry:
- Car Parking assistance.
- Assist with the check-in process, including scanning tickets and providing wristbands or entry passes.
- Event Setup & Breakdown:
- Help with the setup of the festival grounds, including the placement of signage, and ad hoc tasks.
- Assist in the breakdown of the venue post-festival, helping to pack down equipment and clear the site.
Crowd Management & Safety:
- Monitor crowds to ensure safety protocols are followed, ensuring there are no issues with overcrowding or safety hazards.
Support for Performers and Vendors:
- Provide support to performers artists and speakers, helping them with their logistics (e.g., directing them to their designated areas).
- Assist vendors by ensuring they have everything they need to serve food, beverages, or merchandise.
Sustainability Efforts:
- Assist with the recycling and waste management efforts by directing guests to appropriate waste disposal areas and encouraging eco-friendly practices.
- Help maintain a clean and green festival environment by regularly walking through the grounds and picking up litter.
Engagement & Social Media Support:
- Help take photos of festival activities or engage with festival-goers for social media content (with permission), showcasing the highlights of the event.
- Encourage attendees to participate in the festival’s social media campaigns and share their experiences.
