I will climb Snowdon next week to raise money for the intensive care unit that saved my life.

by Esme Taylor in Stourbridge, England, United Kingdom

When I was 4 weeks old, I caught RSV bronchiolitis. I was very poorly and I couldn't breathe properly. I had to be intubated, which means I had a special machine to breathe for me. I had to go to the Royal Stoke Hospital as this was the closest Children's Intensive Care Unit that had a free bed. My mum and dad were given a special apartment in the hospital so they could stay near me. I would like to raise money for this intensive care unit so that they can save the lives of more children.

Next week I will climb Snowdon to help the hospital save more children's lives. I will do this with my Dad, Joe and Ollie and we will pick the day based on the weather so that it is safe. Please sponsor me if you can.

Thank you!

Love from Esme. Xx
