Escape are the only specialist provision for carers, kinship carers and families of substance users throughout Northumberland. Using a 24/7 Helpline, Information, Advice, 1-1 Support, Counselling, Signposting, Advocacy, Support Groups, Art Sessions, Respite, Educational Training, Physical Activities, Community Reinforcement Approach and Family Training (CRAFT) for Carers of Substance Users; Adverse Childhood Experience's (ACE's) therapeutic support for adults and young people; Health & Wellbeing Sessions and Parenting Courses to support users of our servcies.

Any money raised will be used to support the outstanding work of the charity throughout Northumberland. ESCAPE have been in operation for over 25 years and was formed following a personal tragedy of the Chief Executive and her inability to find services within Northumberland that could help support her through her grief. The charity usually help up to 600 families per annum facing a similar crisis through a loved one's abuse of alcohol or other substances.
