EP LAUNCH (Butterfly Effect)

Firstly, thank you so much for taking the time to have a look at my crowdfunder. Now you’re probably wondering what all the fuss is about. Well, I’m bringing my first ever EP out ‘Butterfly Effect’ at the end of this year and I would love for you guys to be a part of my journey. I’ve worked long and hard to get this EP to the standard I always imagined. And with many struggles such as a world pandemic, financial problems, a breakup and then being diagnosed with Vocal nodules. Somehow, I’ve managed to pull it out the bag with the help of Dragonfly Studios and many other talented musicians that I collaborated with on this creative process. 

I’ve always loved creating music, for me it’s the only time when I feel I’m the true version of myself, where I feel safe and feels like home. After my mother passed away in 2003 and my Nan adopting me, I grew up with her musical influence whilst she played the piano and violin. I always understood that this was her way of being calm. She always looked so happy when lost in the moment of her playing and from this moment I knew this is exactly what I needed to do to satisfy my irritable and fidgety self. 

I started writing this EP in 2017 but fully immersed myself in 2020 when I wrote 3 new songs. The EP takes you on a relatable journey of self-discovery. All the songs featured on the EP are honest and written purely from my heart. I’ve never felt so vulnerable as I express myself and my emotions that I would never usually talk about.

So, this is where you come in. The process of creating an EP is costly and I’ve worked many hours and many jobs to enable me this opportunity to create and produce an album which I’m truly proud of. It’s now ready for its release and I’m looking for support to make this journey as significant as it can be. Down below is the final adjustments I need to make this EP propel to its full potential and give it the chance to be shown off like I feel it deserves.

Distribution 

I’ve decided to use DITTO music to distribute the EP. Distribution is what you need to put your music out across all the platforms such as Spotify, Apple music, Deezer and many more. They also collect royalties from these platforms

Cost: £29 per year 

Publishing 

If your music is played anywhere in the world in bars or clubs, performed live and even used in adverts or movies I could earn royalties from my tracks. Although the distribution covers any music platforms, publishing will collect any royalties on a whole wider scale for you. 

Cost: £39 

Artwork

Like any album or song release you need artwork for your covers. This of course is done by a designer and then by an editor.

Cost: £50-£150

Cost: £21 per month 

Social Media Campaigns 

Now this is the important one. This is where I would pay for promotion across all the social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. When you pay for promotion, you reach new audiences which could lead to new potential fans and listeners. 

Cost: No set cost. 

Photography 

We all need to look good when selling ourselves as a brand. Photography personalises the music and gives the audience more in depth feel of who you are as an artist.
