We're still collecting donations
On the 22nd August 2020 we'd raised £10,040 with 228 supporters in 86 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

All of the money raised will be re-invested into the club. Our simple aim for 2020 is to survive!
Enville Cricket Club (ECC) Covid Crowdfunding Page
The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a nightmare situation for cricket clubs, with huge uncertainty as to when cricket will return.
ECC provides the perfect environment for children, adults and their guests to enjoy their summer days watching or playing cricket. As a club with a 199 year long history and strong links to the community, we pride ourselves on offering great facilities for our members.
With as many as 6 adult sides playing on a Saturday, Sunday & Wednesday plus age group cricket from Under 7 to Under 15, including the popular 'All Stars' and 'Dynamos' sections, we are able to accommodate a huge number of cricketers, with an emphasis on bringing through juniors into the world of adult cricket.
We are particularly proud of our efforts to grow the girls section where we now have around 20 girls all enjoying the greatest team sport there is. We even won a couple of six-a-side tournaments last year!
As you will all be aware, the corona virus has put a serious dent into all cricketing plans this summer and we will probably see no (league) cricket until 2021. We are determined to survive and to keep offering our members an amazing facility but we need your help. Nature doesn't stop so our hallowed turf will still need plenty of maintenance over the summer, playing or not! Plus the net facility needs plenty of TLC to enable us to start using these facilities again.
Most clubs run on tight margins and ECC is exactly the same. Our financial position is always made up of member contributions, subscriptions, sponsorship and some fantastic fund raising events, all of which have dried up. With numerous bills to pay, and no income to speak of, we are in need of financial assistance from our members and friends.
We are looking to raise at least £5,000 with a stretch target of £10k to confirm our financial stability through these difficult times, and welcome the support from players, and friends of the club to help us navigate this uncertain period. This will ensure we can pay our bills until April 2021.
Should we exceed our target, all funds will be re-invested in to the Club. For example, we know we need to replace the bar and outside seating urgently (through the athletic club), while we also need to keep a reserve for junior coaching costs!
A £30 contribution is the cost to become a social member for 2020. This would enable you to use our facilties (including nets) going forward and cover the relevent insurance costs involved. We aren't charging for outdoor nets like other clubs are either! Obviously if you can donate more we would be extremely grateful, but not a problem if less! Every little helps as they say.
We hope that you are able to contribute to the health and sustainability of Enville CC and the Athletic club, and look forward to welcoming you, and your families back soon.
Oh and finally, we're hoping Sport England will match upto 50% of the funding, if we can reach our target!
