Aim: We plan to tackle this issue by turning fashion into a tool for empowerment, education, and enterprise.
My name is Ashley, founder of Entrapreneur. I grew up in South London, and I’ve spent the last few years working directly with young people through community and youth engagement. My journey, from facing adversity and setbacks to achieving a master’s degree, has shaped my mission to create something that gives back. Entrapreneur is more than just a streetwear brand. It’s a movement that uses fashion as a vehicle to teach entrepreneurship, build confidence, and open real opportunities for young people who feel overlooked.
Our team is small but passionate, made up of creatives, youth mentors, and community leaders who all believe in this vision: to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs by giving them both a platform and a purpose.
Our idea is simple but powerful: use exclusive clothing drops to fund and fuel an impact-driven vendor program, where young people can earn money, gain business skills, and grow their confidence by selling Entrapreneur products as vendors. Over time, they don’t just learn to sell, they learn to own, build and lead.
With the funding we raise, we’ll cover essential startup costs: inventory (our first official stock), brand development, pop-up activation, company formation, insurance, and workshop materials. This will allow us to launch the vendor program, activate community spaces in Brixton like South-London, and support at least 40 young people over the next 12 months.
