Townsend Youth Partnership

The Townsend Youth Partnership is situated on the Townsend estate (an area of deprivation) in Bournemouth.

The purpose of the Townsend Youth Partnership is to respond to the needs of our marginalised community experiencing entrenched and escalating poverty.

As a  grassroots, community-led charity, we have real understanding of the challenges facing the community we support and the strengths they can build on believing in everyone's potential.

Primarily the Townsend Youth Partnership provides a safe place for young people to go, providing positive opportunities for them to develop personal and social/interpersonal skills.

Open and detached youth work is provided from this safe space.

Personalised Financial Coaching:  Offering one-on-one financial coaching sessions to address individual financial challenges and goals.

Peer Support: We shall establish a peer support group to encourage knowledge sharing and mutual support among participants.

Expected Outcomes

By equipping young adults with disabilities with the necessary financial skills and resources, this project aims to foster their independence, enhance their quality of life, and promote greater financial inclusion and equity.
