Healing Care For Evie the Husky

Evie is 11 years old 12 in February.
She is such a brave soul. She has taught me so much. One of which is the trust that animals bestow upon you. I hope I have done my best to help her live a good life.

She has a large mass in her tummy which the vets confidently told us could be removed and prolong her life and make it more comfortable. Of course we took out our savings of £2000 and paid for this to be done asap.

Only to find that in surgery the mass was connected to her kidney, spleen and a major artery which they did not detect in the scans or Xrays. So it could not be removed.

The vets charged us £3000 and £750 of this is being covered by Evie's insurance.

Evie is recovering from the operation. She is doing okay.
Before she went in she was still enjoying her life. Though a little tired from time to time and having to reduce the amount she did. She would still sing for her dinner and growl howl when she was happy. She still loved eating her carrot once her daughter had finished hers so that she could eat it whilst Juni watches her.

We feel she will recover from her surgery and get back to her normal new self. But we need to find the finances to keep her comfortable, such as medications and good foods and acupuncture is also suppose to be good to help. We are in touch with a acupuncture vet in Redruth. Until she passes as naturally and pain free as possible. We had saved for a months rent to find a home with a garden as we are in a small 1 bed flat and she is struggling with the stairs.

Sadly we have no funds left to do the above due to the huge vet bill.

So we are asking for the generosity of our friends family and strangers to help us raise a little so we can pay for what we need to keep her comfortable until she decides to leave this planet and maybe even find a place to rent with a garden for her with no stairs.

We are currently staying at a friends home until she is recovered form the operation.
