Dear Friends and Community Members,

We find ourselves at a critical juncture and need your support to preserve the quality of education and well-being of our beloved school. Our school, which has proudly served the community since the early 1900s, faces significant challenges due to dwindling resources, dwindling population of children due to the low birth rate in the borough and financial constraints. The impact of these issues could be profound, affecting not only the quality of education but also the dedicated staff who have devoted decades to nurturing our children and possible closure of the school.

Why Your Support Matters:

Ensuring Educational Resources: Our school is in urgent need of funds to purchase essential supplies such as glue, colouring pens, school trips, support to help teaching assistance from getting redundancy because we are cutting staff and P.E. equipment. These resources are vital for engaging and effective learning experiences. Without them, our ability to provide a rich, interactive education is compromised.

Protecting Teaching Assistants: We are deeply concerned about the looming redundancies among our teaching assistants, many of whom have served our school for over 20 years. These individuals have been the backbone of our educational support system, especially for students with special needs (SEN). Reducing their numbers will negatively impact these students' access to quality support and raise safeguarding concerns due to the increased strain on the remaining staff.

Preventing Job Losses: Forecasts indicate that the trend of forced redundancies could continue, driven by a declining pupils' population and high living costs in urban London. This not only threatens our experienced staff's livelihoods but also forces passionate educators to consider leaving a profession they have dedicated their lives to.

Preserving Our Legacy: Imagine the uncertainty our teachers face this Summer, not knowing if they will have a job to return to in September. After decades of selfless service, the prospect of job loss due to funding shortfalls is not just a professional setback but an emotional and mental strain.

How You Can Help:

We are appealing for your generous financial support to help bridge the funding gap. Your donations will go directly towards:

  • Purchasing essential school supplies to enhance our students' learning experiences.
  • Supporting the continuation of our experienced teaching assistants' roles.
  • Ensuring our school can maintain its high standards of education and support for all students.

The Impact of Your Contribution:

By investing in our school now, you are contributing to a brighter future for our children. They could be the future leaders, doctors, educators, and community champions who will make a positive impact on society. Your support will ensure that our school continues to provide the nurturing, high-quality education that has been its hallmark for over a century.

I know this is a significant ask, but the future of our children and the well-being of our dedicated staff are at stake. Please consider making a donation to help us navigate this challenging time and continue to offer the exceptional education that our community deserves.

Donate Today and Make a Difference!
