Who are we?
My name is Emma Sanders and I have played 8ball pool at county level for many years. I got into it following in my fathers footsteps as he was a world, European and UK champion at the sport. After having a couple of years out due to spinal surgery, I came in the top 10 in the region which qualified me to trial for a place in the England team. I was up against the top 50 women in the country at the trials where I managed to come 2nd and secure me a place on the England team ☺

Why are we crowdfunding?
Pool is an expensive and we have to fund ourselves for accomodation, travel expenses, shirts and logos. I also play on one of the biggest tours in the UK (ultimate pool) which costs money for entry fees, accomodation and travel expenses. Now getting to represent my country this is an additional cost which I am struggling to afford and so I am looking for any help I can get to go towards the cost of it.

How you can play your part
It also costs money to practice. And with my first England event (Nations cup) coming up at the end of March I will be putting in plenty of time on the practice table.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. If you want to run your own fundraiser to support us, maybe a sponsored activity or similar, use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
How we’ll spend the money raised
Any money raised will help towards travel costs and accomodation fees.

Community impact
It’s important to explain the wider impact of your organisation for the whole community, who does it benefit and why? Perhaps your facilities are used for other purposes outside of sport too?
