Following recent failure of the sewage system in the front of house toilets we aim to repair the facilities and add an additional cubicle.

We're still collecting donations

On the 3rd March 2021 we'd raised £1,130 with 32 supporters in 35 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

During the COVID crisis we have encountered a failure of the sewerage pipe connecting all the front of house toilets to the main drainage system.

Naturally we have had to undertake emergency repairs to prevent further leakage and restore basic function. These repairs have required us to dig up large sections of the floor, replace all existing pipework with new an re-instate the floor surface. This caused minimal lasting damage in the gents toilets however has left one cubicle in the ladies completely un-usable. Works to date have totalled over £1000.

For those of you ladies who have had the pleasure of using the facilities you'll be aware that there has always been something of a need to queue. Our aim is to completely refurbish both of the existing cubicles and with a little re-shuffle install a third to ease the congestion. We'll also re-tile, re-paint, install new lighting and replace the sink.

Under normal circumstances these works could be absorbed into our running costs. However COVID has hit the events industry hard and we have been unable to open to the public since March 2020. With this in mind we need your help to ensure we can be ready to re-open as soon as it is safe to do so.
