19/02 Elsie is now home from GOSH, to spend more time recovering. She up, walking around again and being cheeky just like before the op. It was a stressful time being in hospital but to see the caring and professional way all the staff treated everyone was brilliant. You always see a child with worse medical problems than your own. Its heart breaking to see but they are always smiling and happy. This is what GOSH is about. So pleased be assured your hard earned money is going to help children and parents a like that use the hospital.
Elsie loved to hear the messages for her, we will be presenting the hospital with an Elsie cheque next week. Lily and Ellie loved keepng me updated with the amount raised too.
Finally from me to you all, a massive thank you because I never thought we would raise such a massive amount and that's really humbling. Love to you all
13/02 We keep moving the target as the generosity has been brilliant. The initial target was £200, which may have been slightly under estimating how well this would do. GOSH is a amazing place and to see the care and skill of the staff here first hand is inspiring. Your money is going to a good home and will greatly appreciated. Thank you all x
Today 12/02 Elsie had a planned operation at GOSH, all went well and we will be staying in for a week for her to recover. Lily and Ellie are planning to do a raffle soon (hope you like golf) but we would like to raise some money while we are in here and for Elsie to hear all the messages for her. Usually we would be a walk or do some fundraising but last year we couldn't. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and please leave a comment for Elsie.
