The Prize
We are offering you the chance to join a flower pressing workshop at our sustainable flower farm, set in a beautiful walled garden, where you will learn the delicate art of preserving nature’s beauty. You’ll also get to pick your own bucket of fresh, seasonal flowers straight from the farm!
The workshop is being run by the lovely Clair from The Wild Flower Press on the 26th July form 1pm-4pm, at Ella's Flower farm in Wimborne St Giles. The workshop includes a flower press, flower pressing booklet and floral art making. Clair will demonstrate how to press a variety of flowers, sharing all her tips. You will then press the same flowers in your new wooden press. In addition to this you will also take away with you her guide to flower pressing booklet, so you don’t have to take notes…To finish you will make your own floral art using a selection of her pressed flowers in a frame provided.

At the end of the day you will be given a bucket and some snips to head into the farm to pick your own fresh flowers to take home.

The Cause
This prize draw is part of our fundraising campaign to rebuild our workshop space after it was damaged by a storm. The new, eco-friendly space will replace our old gazebo, providing a sheltered area for workshops and events. We’re also raising funds to install a composting toilet, which is essential for both the workshops and the pick-your-own flower experience, helping us offer a more sustainable and comfortable environment for visitors.
