Who am I?
In 2022 I moved from South Africa to the UK, when I moved here I had hoped that I would be able to play Women's Ice Hockey at the highest level possible. I have played Ice Hockey for the South African Women's team for the past 10 years. Last season I played for Streatham Storm in the WNIHL Elite Division and this year I have the honor of playing with the Streatham Storm again.
Why am I crowdfunding?
Although I will be playing for Streatham Storm this season, I am also training for the Women's World Championships, which will take place in March 2025. With this in mind I am spending, a lot of time at other clubs practices, getting as much ice time and practice's in as possible. This all costs a lot for both the practices and fuel to get to all of the rinks. Although I am trying to raise quite a bit of money I am hoping to at least get a portion of the costs needed for the season, to ease the burden a bit.
How the money raised will be spent
If all funds are raised this will cover the cost of practices and games at Streatham Storm..
With these expenses out of the way, I can focus on the hockey and attending as many other practices as possible throughout the season.
How you can help

Any additional ways to help out.
1. Spread the word. Share my project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind me! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
2. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things I can offer to my supporters. I will give you a shout out!
3. Fundraise for me. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of the page to let me know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
