I am disabled and feel that alongside other demographics of society we have been let down and somewhat targeted to have less and less support. I want this to change and hope to be part of that change so have stood in the last two general elections. I look forward to campaigning for the Green Party where my loyalties truly lie. I now work with some of the policy groups being a co-chair of the food and agriculture policy working group alongside a retired farmer. He brings the farming experience and I bring the technical skills for other people to get involved. But I work with the disability policy working group and the drug policy working group where I campaign for better accessibility to medical cannabis which has been legal (to a degree) since November 2018. This is especially important for the 20,000 children whose parents are paying up to £2500 per month for the only medication that works. This should be available on the NHS alongside rolling back on the ever increasing privatisation of medical services.
I will be using any money raised for the deposit and any leafleting that is approved by the Luton and Bedfordshire executive committee. Although requests from donors will be seriously considered.
