There's a by-election in Burnt Oak on 13th February 2025. Let's use this opportunity to elect a Green councillor!

by Barnet Green Party in Barnet, Greater London, United Kingdom

A by-election has been called in Burnt Oak, following a Labour councillor’s resignation. Other parties are bringing in outsiders. Some want to divide us. You have a choice to vote for someone who lives here. Your Green Party candidate, Gabrielle Bailey, has been working tirelessly for years to make things better for everyone.

You already have two Labour councillors. A Green, local voice will hold Labour to account and make sure they listen to you.

Gabrielle Bailey can win with your vote and she will support you.

Every day, Gabrielle steps out of her door and sees first-hand the problems in Burnt Oak: fly-tipping, anti-social behaviour, pollution. She takes action where she can, but Burnt Oak is being left behind.

Gabrielle started up the Friends of Watling Park to clean up her local park. She helped create a new community garden on a well-known fly-tipping spot to stop people dumping rubbish.

She is standing against the Council’s plan to build on Watling Car Park.

Vote Gabrielle Bailey on 13th February. Vote local. Vote Green.

Gabrielle will stand up for the high street’s amazing and unique range of culturally diverse, local businesses.

She will stand up for local shops, restaurants and cafes. She will help local businesses work together with the police to make the high street safer.

Burnt Oak high street just got its first Tesco. Allowing more national chain retailers would be a threat to Burnt Oak’s cultural heritage and small businesses.

Our community is our strength. Gabrielle will stand up for you.

Vote Gabrielle Bailey on 13th February. Vote local. Vote Green.
