Conor and I are raising funds for Megan's Space a charity that has supported our daughter.
Project by Megan's Space
We are doing the Kiltwalk for Megan's Space because last year our 6 year old told us she wanted to die. She was consuming under 300 calories a day and was hurting herself. There are no resources in education for suicidal children under high school age. No one helped us. GP, CAMHS and social services just all told her they didn't think she was really suicidal. But no one could tell me for certain. In our desperation we spoke to anyone and everyone who would listen. And someone mentioned Megan's Space. Within a week of sending an email our daughter had an appointment. Megan's Space saved her life. She finally had someone to talk to. Finally had a voice.
