We're still collecting donations
On the 19th August 2020 we'd raised £2,827 with 46 supporters in 41 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
I am hoping to produce a CD called Edinburgh Folk, which will be all about characters from or connected to Edinburgh past and present.

If I reach the bigger target I can start on the second CD, more difficult because I need to write a lot more songs
The global COVID-19 pandemic threw my work out of the window; performances cancelled everywhere.
Trying to create something positive out of this, as a musican who thrives on live work with real audiences, is not easy. But here is the get well soon card. I managed to start writing again. Next up is a CD, 'Edinburgh Folk', about the people from the city I love.
All the funds I recieve will go into producing that CD, studio costs, engineers, production costs, other musicans, artists and not least, me sitting at home writing like a madman and practising all the stuff. In the end, I hope to be able to offer a unique limited edition CD of traditional and contemporary folk songs.
