The Eagley Band meets to learn, practice and rehearse band music as a group of musicians with an age range of 11 to 80 years. The band organises and plays at various concerts and contests which may include all members of the band or, on occasion, smaller groups of musicians. The band also has a social side where the members may meet for dining out and other activities.

Eagley Band was formed in the winter of 1850, initially as the Eagley Sunday School Band, attached to the Eagley Mills, a group of textile mills sited to the north of Bolton, Lancashire, and has been performing for audiences in and around Bolton ever since.
Eagley band are also keen to support other local charities as we perform three or four major gala concerts every year to 1,000 people in Bolton’s Victoria Hall, raising funds for Bolton Hospice, Bolton Lions & the Mayors nominated charities plus a small number of full concerts throughout the year
We are UK registered charity No.1181741 and we welcome anyone of any gender, religion, race or creed who is interested in playing with what we believe is a unique band of genuine friends who all want to play to their very best abilities. We have 172 years of band history to preserve too!
