Welcome to the crowdfunding campaign for E33 Dance Company CIC's inspiring event, "Life Cycles." We are reaching out to you, our community, to help us make this event a resounding success and create a positive impact on the lives of individuals in Wandsworth. Through dance, we aim to promote mental and physical wellbeing, nurture local talent, and foster a sense of unity and belonging. With your generous support, we can bring this extraordinary event to life.

About E33 Dance Company CIC:

E33 Dance Company CIC is a vibrant, cross-generational organisation dedicated to delivering outstanding dance experiences in Wandsworth. We are a creative hub that welcomes, nurtures, and values everyone, using dance as a powerful tool to promote overall wellbeing. Our work extends beyond the stage, as we collaborate with local organisations to offer dance outreach programs and mentoring opportunities for young dancers.

The "Life Cycles" Project:

Life Cycles is a transformative dance project centred around the regenerative and recuperative wonder of nature. Through it, we focus on raising awareness and promoting healing in two important areas: mental health and miscarriage. We invite you to join us in this meaningful endeavour by supporting our crowdfunding campaign.

Part 1: Creating New Dance Work about Mental Health Awareness

As part of Life Cycles, we aim to create four powerful and emotive dance works that shed light on the positive impacts of nature on mental health. Through captivating choreography, music, and storytelling, we will explore the complexities of mental wellbeing, destigmatise conversations around mental health, and inspire hope and resilience. Our goal is to create an impactful performance that resonates with audiences and promotes understanding and empathy.

These four works, including a piece created in collaboration with children from Providence House,  will premiere at the Royal Academy of Dance as part of Wandsworth Arts Fringe on Tuesday, June 20th.

Part 2: Creating a Dance Film for Miscarriage Awareness and Healing

In the second part of Life Cycles, we will produce a touching and sensitive dance film that addresses the often-unspoken topic of miscarriage. As one in four pregnancies ends in loss, at least 25% of the Nine Elms community is likely to have been touched by miscarriage too. This film will provide a platform for individuals and couples who have experienced this loss to find solace, healing, and connection. By sharing personal stories through the art of dance, we aim to bring comfort, raise awareness, and foster a supportive community for those affected by miscarriage.

The film will premiere during National Miscarriage Week (October 2023) and will be a free resource presented alongside creative arts workshops using the Japanese art form ‘Kintsugi.’
