Aim: Help us raise funds to upgrade equipment, expand classes & keep gymnastics safe, fun & accessible for all children in our community!

Who are we?

We are a thriving gymnastics club based in Consett, proudly supporting over 300 children and young people from across the community — from complete beginners to competition-level gymnasts.

Our club is built on passion, dedication, and inclusivity. Run by qualified coaches and volunteers, we provide a safe, structured, and encouraging environment where every child can learn, grow, and achieve. Whether it’s mastering their first forward roll or training for regional competitions, every gymnast has a place here.

We don’t just build physical strength — we build confidence, resilience, and friendships for life.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We’re raising funds to invest in essential new equipment that will benefit every gymnast at our club. With our classes growing rapidly and demand increasing, our current equipment is in constant use and becoming worn out.

To continue delivering high-quality coaching and a safe environment, we need to replace and upgrade key apparatus — including mats, vaults, and bars — as well as add new equipment to expand what we can offer.

This funding will help us keep our sessions safe, fun, and challenging for all levels — from our tiny tumblers to our competition squads.

With over 300 members, we’re also eligible for additional match funding — but only if we reach our target with your help!

How we’ll spend the money raised

We’ll use every penny to purchase new and replacement equipment that will make a real difference across all our classes. Here’s a breakdown of how the money will be spent:

• £2,000 – Replacement safety mats 
• £2,500 – Upgraded training bars and supports
• £6,000 - Replacement floor carpet

Total target: £10,500

If we raise more, we’ll continue upgrading other areas and possibly add specialist equipment to support children with additional needs.

Community impact

Our club plays a vital role in the health and wellbeing of young people in Consett and surrounding areas. We provide a positive, active outlet for children of all abilities and backgrounds — helping them stay active, build confidence, and develop discipline in a supportive environment.

We’re proud to offer opportunities that reach far beyond the gym floor — helping children build skills for life.

We also work closely with local schools and families and aim to be a hub of community engagement. With more equipment, we can grow our outreach and bring gymnastics to even more children, including those who may not otherwise have access to sport.
