Who are we?

Norwich City Community Sports Foundation helps over 43,000 people every year to achieve their goals and to support their needs. We work with some of the most disadvantaged and talented children, young people and adults across Norfolk.

Impact

The foundation provides opportunities in various areas, including sport, disability, health, schools, education, employability, and social inclusion. We aim to use sport as a vehicle to promote social change and community development. evidently, sport and physical activity can bolster physical, psychological, emotional and social well-being and development, which is a core purpose of the foundation.

Why are we crowdfunding?

Without funding, Duncan's Club will not be able to reach the same number of individuals, nor have the same level of impact it is currently having on its beneficiaries as it would have to be a reduced service. This would mean a reduction in social connections and opportunities to make friends in a supportive network, as well as a decrease in physical and mental wellbeing amongst our beneficiaries. The chance for experience days such as the Carrow Road stadium tour, which was a highlight for participants, would not be a possibility.

How we’ll spend the money raised

As Duncan's Club is a free provision for participants, the funds raised will go towards the project's operational costs, which includes, venue hire, experience days, refreshments, and salaries.
