Hello, I'm Looking for Help and Support..
On January 27th I completed my last task of the day in work.. I was none the wiser and definitely had no knowledge our company was suffering. As I Left my manager wished me Happy Birthday and enjoy your holiday see you when you get back.
On 30th January I got a text of a former colleague, Who said straight up Manchester have closed their doors, We was all being made redundant.
From now writing this 11th July all the way back to January, Not one manager has called me to Apologise or tell me anything.
The letter I received at the time said I will be placed on gardening leave until Feb 29th. Where we was supposed to be paid. On this date we all attended a conference call to say they are going into Insolvency and we would have to apply for our wages.
It was a battle and I got my basic wage but all the over time I did in excess of £700 i never got, The company lost our time sheets and this could not be claimed.
I was on track with all bills, Having In December to folk out £6000 for a vet bill, This was last of what I needed.
I jumped onto benefits but despite paying into the system since 16 years of age, You don't get looked after and struggle to keep going, I sacrificed all my luxuries to pay loans and other debts. I applied for 241 jobs and only one 4 months later offered me a position. This is 4 months too late. I have got default payments that need to be paid and I have nothing, I am working in a pub to bring in extra money to help and its not enough.
This was my last resort and to jump into this drastic action. I have never saved and struggled but life lesson if you have no savings, Get saving because this could happen to you and its not nice.
I will upload every payment confirmation with all donations received so you can see I'm not lying to you. You are more than welcome to pay them directly if you choose. The target may reduce from time to time as well as asking for help I will be doing my part to help pay these off too.
