We're still collecting donations
On the 2nd August 2022 we'd raised £2,670 with 58 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
To raise funds for the final stage of Scotland's Indy Ref 2 campaign, keeping our van 'on the road' - and funding banners, booklets etc.

On the 2nd August 2022 we'd raised £2,670 with 58 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
In addition to the type of campaign materials we've been using already, and will need more of, it would be good to be able to fund some local media advertising as the date for Indy Ref2 approaches. All and any extra donations might well help us to do that!
With the help of our first Crowdfunder in 2019, we bought the Indy Hub van; got the 'livery' applied; and have been active around Dumfries & Galloway ever since - with the exception of that period of Covid-19 which stopped groups doing 'face to face' campaigns.
We're now looking for an additional, hopefully final, boost of funds to take us through our servicing, MOTs, any essential repairs, diesel, and even more campaign materials- now that we have a 'route to Indy Ref2' from the First Minister.
Over the past three years, we've supported groups from Langholm in the East, to Stranraer in the West - including joining Yes Moffat in the High Street (above); Machars for Yes/Yes Wigtownshire, and Dumfries & Galloway Pensioners for Independence/D&G English Scots for Yes, at the Wigtown Book Festival (below).
We've campaigned with Yes Annandale in Lockerbie; Dumfries & Galloway Pensioners for Independence at Saturday markets in Dumfries - and at pop-up exhibitions in Langholm, Gretna, and Thornhill; and with Doonhamers Fur Aye/Yes Annandale at the 'Fechan Bridge for Indy'.
We've funded and distributed thousands of our wee 'info packs' showing examples of Scotland's natural wealth, to households around D&G, either directly or through individuals and groups who support Scotland's independence.
We also collected Believe in Scotland material from Glasgow and delivered it to local Yes groups - and expect to be able to do more of that as the new material from Believe in Scotland becomes available for distribution.
More recently, with the help of grants from It's Time Scotland and the Scottish Independence Foundation, we've bought banners and had them distributed around D&G.
And, along with other Independence supporters and groups, we've contributed to the letters pages of our local weekly newspapers on many occasions, and also in national newspapers - as well as appearing on Border TV's 'Representing Border' programme on 28th June, the day the FM shared the path to Indy Ref 2 (or its alternative route, to ensure a 'legal' vote).
Regarding the 'reward' of one Business for Scotland 'Scotland the Brief' mini-book (2019 edition), along with a pair of Saltire/Scotland number plate stickers for donations of £20 or more - if you already have either/both then just give them to a friend!
