We did it
On 2nd July 2024 we successfully raised £1,275 with 16 supporters in 35 days

It costs £500 to stand a candidate in the General Election. Help us give people in Dudley,Halesowen and Stourbridge the option to vote Green

There are 3 constituencies covering our region (Dudley, Halesowen and Stourbridge) and we need your help to raise £1500 to give everyone the opportunity to vote Green.

We have three great candidates: Zia Qari for Dudley, Stephen Price for Stourbridge and Emma Bullard for Halesowen - ready to be strong voices for environmental and social justice.

We are extremely proud to be able to offer people the chance to vote for us but, as a grassroots party, we can't rely on rich individuals and big business donations to clear the path to democracy for us.

Due to the election being called at very short notice, we haven't been able to save up for this election as we would have liked, so need to raise money urgently.

We are looking to raise £1,500. This money will go towards getting Zia, Emma and Stephen on the ballot papers and then spreading the word about the Green message through leafletting, canvassing, social media adverts and events.

Please donate today!

If 10 people give £50, that'll get us on one ballot paper!

  • Also by helping our Black Country candidates to stand, your donation enables all the votes they receive to translate into government funding for the Green MPs elected elsewhere
  • If the Black Country candidates retains their deposit, those funds come back and can be spent by the Green Party again, so we can keep building strength both locally and nationally

Our members have already been working extremely hard to pick up the bulk of our costs but we do need that final push from all those supporters and activists out there who believe in equality not poverty, public services (including the NHS) coming into public hands and the need to take urgent action to tackle the Climate Emergency.

P.S. Because we're a political party

We're required to run electoral register checks from people making donations above £500, and if you donate over £1,500 during a year, we are required to let the Electoral Commission know, who will make this available on their website.
