We are raising funds to provide clothing to children in need, helping them feel confident and fully engage in school and community life.
by Feigy Brim in London, England, United Kingdom
We are a community-focused team based in Hackney and Haringey, working to support children from low-income families facing the challenges of the cost-of-living crisis. For many families, the rising costs of housing, food, and bills leave little room in their budget for essential clothing. Without appropriate clothes, children are often excluded from social activities, school events, and job opportunities, creating a barrier to their future success.
Our Vision
Our vision is to empower children by providing them with essential clothing, but also by giving them a path to improved financial well-being. Access to proper clothing is not just about warmth and comfort—it’s about opportunity. When children have the right clothes, they are better prepared for school, job interviews, and community involvement. This boost in confidence sets them on a path to future success, including better education outcomes and greater chances of securing employment as they grow older.
Through our initiative, we aim to break the cycle of poverty by giving children the resources they need to feel valued and ready to take on life’s opportunities. By providing clothing that is essential for school, work, and social participation, we’re helping them develop the confidence and skills necessary to pursue employment and build a better future.
Our Team
Our team is made up of dedicated volunteers and local community members who are passionate about creating opportunities for young people. We work closely with schools, charities, and local partners to ensure that children who need help most receive the support they deserve. We’re committed to meeting the needs of children not only in the short term but by providing the foundation for long-term success through a focus on financial well-being and future employability.
How We Use the Funds
The funds we raise will go directly into purchasing essential clothing items such as coats, shoes, jumpers, and other necessary garments for children who cannot access them due to financial constraints. These clothes are not just practical—they enable children to attend school, participate in job fairs, or even secure part-time employment opportunities as they get older.
The funds will also cover the logistics of organizing, storing, and distributing the clothes to ensure that we can reach as many children as possible. Additionally, we will continue to focus on sustainability by redistributing pre-loved clothing, helping to reduce textile waste while providing quality items to families in need.
Why This Matters
By supporting this initiative, you’re not just helping children stay warm—you’re opening doors to a future of opportunities. Proper clothing helps children feel confident, and that confidence can have a ripple effect on their school performance, extracurricular involvement, and future employment. When children are dressed well, they are more likely to engage in school, attend interviews, and pursue work opportunities, leading to improved financial well-being for their families.
We’re creating more than just a clothing drive; we’re building a pathway for financial empowerment and future employment for young people, one garment at a time.

This project aims to raise funds to resolve a claim, or other type of dispute. Neither Crowdfunder nor the Project Owner can guarantee the outcome of that dispute, or that it will be resolved at all. Due to the uncertain nature of disputes, it is not possible for the Project Owner to be sure that the amount it raises will be enough to resolve the dispute or to see it through to its conclusion. If the desired outcome of the dispute is achieved in the first instance, it may be subject to appeal and may be overturned.
