• Blackberry Donkeys offer donkey therapy sessions and educational visits, and regularly visit schools, care homes, dementia centres and hospices etc across the north east and offer a number of free visits to those who need it most every year.  As with many small businesses during this global Covid-19 pandemic, we are currenrly receiving no income and sadly will be unable to offer any free visits this year.  Some of our wonderful friends and facebook followers have expressed an interest in supporting our donkeys and small business at this challenging time, to help pay for feed, farrier visits, worming and so on, but we would like to use crowdfunder as a platform to collect these funds and #payitforward.  We would like to use the money to offer free donkey therapy visits, once the covid-19 restrictions are lifted.  Therefore, the money is used to support our donkeys and business now, in return for free visits once we are allowed to venture out and about in the community.  There are so many wonderful community groups, schools, centres, care homes and hospices that would benefit from a free visit and thanks to one of our donkey friends donations already, we have this week been in touch with a local homeless centre to arrange a visit, as soon as we are able.  Crowdfunder is 100% free, so all donations go directly towards donkey therapy sessions and educational visits in the community.  Furthermore, you can follow the places we visit, ( thanks to the crowdfunder), on our facebook page.
