We are asking people to donate their unused lunch money to go towards food parcels- for children who don't have enough to eat in Hillingdon? If you are working at home now, would you be able to donate a weeks worth of what you normally spend on meal deals for lunch? If you have a child in key stage 1, would you be able to donate the money you are saving on a weeks worth of free school meals? I used to teach in Hayes, and I can think of a number of children who won't have enough to eat this week. Yvonne is a family support worker in the area and wants to get food parcels out to the families she knows, and reach out to families from other schools. Rather than just moaning about the politics, lets try and do something to help.  Any money raised Yvonne will spend on food to make parcels that she will deliver.  Anything left over, we will donate to the Hillingdon food bank, which the families can access in the longer run.
