Thank you all you fantastic people for reading this post.
I am raising money for a local charity. “What are you doing James?” I hear you ask. I am doing the unthinkable. Those of you that know me well know the very close personal relationship I have with my hair and beard. Well, I am booked in for my next haircut with those wonderful barbers at The Garrison on the 16th of November. If I raise £500 (was originally £300 but I reached that so fast Maybe I could push for more) before this date then they will be shaving off my hair and beard completely.
It’s was so tough to choose the right charity for this as so many of my friends and family have been going through different challenges recently however, My chosen charity is En-Fold. This is an autism support service who work with individuals and their families at any stage of their diagnostic journey, to provide information and support. We know ourselves that this can be a long, stressful and complicated journey. Unfortunately, some individuals and their families can get lost in the diagnostic system, unable to find the right support. En-Fold can equip individuals and families with the right knowledge and support for them and their situation.
This is such a vital service. Benjamin has had (and is still going through) such a long and complicated journey. If we were doing this alone without any information or guidance we would have given up by now - this is the sad realities for many families and this is not right.
Thank you for your time in reading this. Any donation would be gratefully received.
