Running your own business is tough, I’ve been there before, but it’s also a real buzz when you deliver a service to someone and are complimented that you are doing awesome, or shall I say “pawsome” because of said service.
Well, i think I’m one of the few that can safely say I love my job.
Working, and walking, as a dog walker/pet sitter for Sophie’s Happy Paws and Waggy Tails.
Life had frantically changed for me over the pandemic and so I decided that I wanted to become my own boss and also quite frankly felt sick to the back teeth of being in the rat-run of something I didn’t enjoy, in addition getting lots of rejected applications for animal industry jobs. Those close to me know the numbers… it’s a lot.
With that being said I found my niche and joined Sophie’s Happy Paws and Waggy Tails (Shpawt for short),
My project on Crowdfunder is to merely raise funds for transport, my car is less than ideal, so I am in need of a van and would need professionally fitted cages for a number of health and safety regulations. Raising money myself just isn’t possible with the recent increases to business economics, one major cause is the increase to petrol prices.
Therefore I would like to raise money to buy a decent sized VAN, with a little left over for fitted cages, spare leads, animal first aid kits, poo bags, water bowls etc.
That’s the main reason for being here and appealing to your good nature today...
Can you help me get there? Can you help me achieve my goal? Any donations would be valued and greatly appreciated, and I want you to be part of my plan to help me give back at what I love doing best (hopefully that makes sense)! I am confident that I will smash my target, so anything more will help pay for fees, and I will donate myself to The Dogs Trust.
In terms of rewards for your support you could have your name sign written on my van to show you supported me, or not if you wish to remain anonymous, alternatively you can have a small hand-drawn portrait completed of your own pet for free, these also make great gifts for others, other incentives would be thank you letters, public recognition on our website, or just periodic emails to tell you how the business is doing and course there will be photos of the daily shenanigans of dog walks for you to peruse.
In conclusion, I take a curtesy to you and thank you for reading on and making a donation if you do.
Best regards,
Bobbi
