Project Community Café

For as long as I can remember, I have dreamt of one day owning my own café. Not just any old café. A café where you’re made to feel like one of the family. A café where you’re guaranteed to make a new friend or a safe space to chat. One where you can pitch up with your laptop and get some work done in a quiet and inspirational atmosphere. Where you can learn something new or meet an old friend for lunch. I don’t want your traditional run-of-the-mill café serving standard ‘café menu delights’. I want to offer amazing food and drinks sourced locally from the fantastic suppliers around Somerset. I want to create a space for creatives to work without feeling embarrassed or disturbed or where retirees can pop in for book club on a Tuesday! Where the space can be transformed into a yoga studio on a Thursday night and by morning, host locals and holiday makers for a wicked fry up! I’ve always wanted to create a new community hub ... a whole new community as such!

Obviously, finding a space big enough to set this dream up is tough and extremely expensive hence my move to crowdfunder! Thank you so much for your support and I really hope, once we’ve achieved our goal and set up, that you’ll pop in and meet us!
