Aim: We are planning an arts session for disabled creatives to make a piece about what Disability Pride means to them and then display the work.
We are looking to fund a half day workshop space and then to hire a gallery space for a short period. We want to hear many disabled voices through visual arts medium which may incorporate poetry also. It's a really hard time to be a disabled person in the UK right now.
We are here! In speaking our truth about what Disability Pride means to us, we hope to reach people who may not have considered the many and varied experiences of disabled people.
