Hi, my name is Sandra Gomez , and I want to share something very personal — not to seek sympathy, but to ask for support in starting over.

Earlier this year, I lost my dear mother after a long illness. She was my world -the person who raised me, supported me, and believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. When her health began to fail, I made a choice: to put everything else on hold and take care of her full-time. That meant using all my savings to cover her treatment, medications, and making her final months as comfortable and full of love as possible.

It was the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through, but I don’t regret a single moment. My only regret is that now, after she’s gone, I’m starting from zero — emotionally and financially.

About Me and My Idea
I’ve always been passionate about beauty and skincare. I trained in hair removal and dream of opening a small, affordable, and professional service — a welcoming space where people can feel confident and cared for. I’ve seen how a simple service can change someone’s confidence, and I want to be part of that transformation.

But to get started, I need the right equipment: a professional hair removal machine. Without it, I can’t launch the business I’ve worked so hard to plan. That’s why I’m asking for help.

My vision is to create a small, trusted beauty service — one that’s safe, inclusive, and affordable for everyone, especially those who may not feel comfortable or welcome in traditional salons. I hope to grow it into a space where clients feel seen and supported, just as my mom always made me feel.
In the long term, I want to expand this into a sustainable business that empowers others — possibly even train others who are looking for a new start, like I am now.

The funds raised will go directly toward:

• Purchasing a professional hair removal machine (the biggest and most essential cost)
• Basic supplies and tools to start offering services (gels, cleaning products, towels, etc.)
• Setting up a small working space or renting a treatment room
• Licensing or training updates if required in my area

If I raise more than the target, the extra funds will go into growing the business, marketing it, and eventually hiring or mentoring others.

I know times are tough for many, and asking for help isn’t easy — but I believe in being honest and hopeful. Even if you can’t donate, just sharing this story would mean the world to me.
