To keep our volunteers and service users safe we need a constant supply of PPE, cleaning materials and chemicals. Extra money we raise may be used towards this or the other running costs of the Fridge such as electricity and maintenance. Thanks again.
COVID-19 pandemic brought many challenges and changes. People faced reduced wages, increased likelihood of food insecurity and isolation. Supermarkets had food going into landfill and the Dingwall Community Fridge was created to help join the dots.
We provide a 7 day service from 8am-9.30pm run by a team of volunteers, picking up good to eat but no longer saleable food from local supermarkets. We fundraise to provide extra fresh food and for ambient goods for the shelves. This is where this appeal comes in. We know that people want to support us and we want to make that as easy as possible. Thank you for your support and thanks for your kindness and generosity. Take care and stay well.
