Hi, I'm Ann.
In June 2019 my husband died suddenly due to a cardiac arrest. He was a normal, healthy 43 year old man.
A fundraising page was set up for myself and our children and we decided to use the funds raised to buy and install a community defibrillator. We also ran 8 free cpr classes training almost 100 people how to perform cpr and use a defib.
The pads on the defib are now due to expire and the battery will soon need to be replaced too so we are raising money again to be able to do this.
I love that we were able to install the defib in memory of Rich and I really want to be able to keep it in place but pads are approx £60 and a new battery is nearly £300 so we need your help.
Thank you
Wow!
Thank you all so much!
If we do manage to raise any extra this will be put to future maintenance of the defib and cabinet and if possible some extra community cpr classes.
Thank you
