Derbyshire 4x4 Response are a volunteer group offering logistical support to Emergency service, NHS and priviate care staff in adverse weather and times of crisis.

We are a brand new 4x4 response group and registered charity (1196771). We are associate members of 4x4 Response UK, covering the Derbyshire area. 4x4 Response UK is a UK based organisation, with upwards of thirty member groups, covering most areas of the UK.
These groups work closely with local authorities, emergency services, private enterprise, organisations and charities, to provide all terrain logistical support wherever and whenever it is needed.
The main objective of Derbyshire 4x4 Response, is to provide similar logistical support throughout Derbyshire. This may be the transport of staff, critical care personnel or supplies, during periods of adverse weather, or to areas normal road going vehicles cannot reach. We are also able to offer assistance supporting stranded vehicles, whether this be on a snow bound road, muddy field, flooded track, or anything in between. Lastly, we are also assist with traffic control and marshalling support, both in times of crisis and at planned community events.
Derbyshire 4x4 Response was founded by eight members of a similar group, each of us being active and experienced responders. Between us, we have well in excess of 50 years 4x4 response experience, and strive to provide a professional, safe and efficient service to all our service users and members of our community.
