For those who might be new to our community or need a quick refresher, this fund was established in memory of Jessica to raise funds for vital defibrillators in her local community of Kimberworth. It’s hard to believe that it has already been three years since we started this journey!
We are thrilled to announce that we’ve installed a whopping 24 defibrillators in various local areas, including Thorpe Hesley, Greasbrough, Thrybergh, and Masbrough, with a recent addition at Sheffield Lane Top thanks to a generous £2000 donation. Each of these life-saving devices plays a crucial role in our community, and the numbers speak for themselves: our defibrillators have been called upon 164 times in emergencies and have been used four times!
The commitment to enhancing our community’s health and safety doesn’t stop here. We’re excited to share that we just received delivery of five more defibrillators! They’ll be installed soon, which brings our total to an incredible 29. We’re dedicated to ensuring that these essential pieces of equipment are spread across communities where they’re needed the most. If you think your area would benefit from having a defibrillator, please let us know! We welcome your nominations and will look into every suggestion.
