WE DID IT! Thank you for your support and our next steps.
Dear Dare to Care Packages supporters,
A month ago, we could not sit still in our homes anymore; as social entrepreneurs, it is our job to help people in effective and impactful ways. Jon and I started Dare to Care Packages on 15th March and within a couple of weeks, we have an amazing team of volunteers packing in our Kentish Town warehouse and drivers delivering hundreds of care packages all around London.
With your support, we will be able to reach hundreds and thousands more; we have set a stretch target of £15,000 to deepen our impact during these trying times:
- We are setting up recurring deliveries so people we support will be taken care of during this lockdown process, however long it may be.
- Our warehouse also just welcomed Makers4theNHS, with their 3D printers in our warehouse we will be supplying NHS staff with visors regularly, the most-requested items from our outreach to hospitals and GPs in the NHS.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. You have enabled us to give a helping hand to residents in care homes, to immunocompromised individuals, to migrants, to refugees, to neighbours, to friends, to loved ones.
Stay safe and stay positive,
Jo, Jon, and the Dare to Care Packages team
