Daniel and Lukas both love photography and would like to make it their job.
Finding employment as a photographer, with learning difficulties, is going to be hard. That is why we at The Narrators Lens CIC have been asked to help. Between now and July we will be training these future photographers, not only in photography but also in developing their skills and how they can start to earn an income through their passion. To show their commitment to their training both Daniel and Lukas have both opted to help raise the funds needed for their training, and this is where we need your help.
Meet Daniel
Daniel is 22 and comes from Buckinghamshire. He would like to do photography as his dad has taught him about photography when he was younger. Daniel has also completed a course in photography and feels that this will help in having a career. His incentive for doing this course is that he can have a career at the end of it. He would like to build up a portfolio that he can take to job interviews. He likes it when he learns new bits of advice about photography. Daniel's aim is to gain permanent part time employment in a film studio or fashion photography.
Meet Lukas
Lukas is also from Buckinghamshire. Photography is something that he has always had a passion for, mostly car photography. From this course he would like to further his skills with photography and gain an entry level position as a photographer. After the course he would like to combine his love of cars and photography. This course is the best part of his week.
Who are The Narrators Lens CIC?
The Narrators Lens CIC is a not-for-profit community interest company. We work with organisations to provide training, projects, and workshops to enable individuals facing difficulties to learn new skills through photography.
The projects that we provide help the individuals to gain more confidence while enabling them to learn new life skills which will help them to gain employment. Each of our projects are driven by those taking part, allowing them to control the work that they do and the result of their project.
