883 miles from Stoke to Switzerland (Zurich)

Hi Guys,

The past twelve months has been extremely tough for every one of us. It's fair to say we all have a new found respect for all our NHS staff who keep our hospital ticking over while putting their own lives at risk. ????

Those of you who know me personally will know that Royal Stoke continue to look after my mum, Linda, who battles a kidney condition. She continues to experience faultless, compassionate care by staff who offer way more than just treatment. THANKS GUYS! ❤️

I've been thinking how I can say thank you and what i/we can do to give something back... ? Especially as we can't mix or go anywhere at the moment... Hmmm! 

So ... I have a stationary bike in my bedroom (nice and safe...I think ????). I've decided to try and pedal 883 miles from Stoke to Switzerland by 1st May 2021 (about ten weeks)! Now let me tell you, I'm no cyclist, it's all new to me so this will certainly be a challenge. I'm not completely sure what I'm letting myself in for... I come up with crazy ideas from time to time ???? I too and a key worker so I'm going to be juggling this challenge around a full time job ????????????

I will post updates as to how I get on and WILL get to Zurich in Switzerland if it kills me!
