Join us to break a record, have some fun and raise some funds. We are missing all of you so very much and so this idea from crowdfunder seemed just perfect.
The Covid Arms alongside Courtyard36 and many pubs up and down the country will host a virtual quiz with huge stars providing Stand up Comedy. So buy a ticket, throw on your best ‘staying in’ gear, have a giggle, no queues at the bar and be part of a world record attempt too!!

Join your favourite comedians in the world's biggest virtual pub - The Covid Arms, for a 'play-along' quiz like no other Friday 1st May at 8pm - Virtual doors open 8pm
Support Local whilst help to raise cash for the National Emergencies Trust, and be part of a Guinness World Records™️ attempt for most people in a virtual pub while you're at it.
Join your virtual landlady Kiri Pritchard McLean as she hosts the quiz and is joined by Jason Manford, Russell Howard, Suzi Ruffell, Nish Kumar,, Lucy Beaumont, Joel Dommett, London Hughes, Rachel Fairburn, Stephen Bailey, Mark Watson, Rachel Paris, Jenny Ryan and many more.
Courtyard 36 is and will continue to be Bolton’s premier bar, event space, coffee shop and we are doing what we can to ensure that once we are allowed back to work and bars and restaurants can open, that we will be there to serve you superb wines, amazing cocktails and the very best in local beers that you have come to know us well for.
25% of all ticket sales will go to The National Emergencies Trust Coronavirus Appeal. Together we are also attempting a Guinness World Record for the most people in a virtual pub!!
So how does it work?
Once you have reserved your seat (which is technically your comfy sofa) you will get an email with an URL which will go live just before 8pm tomorrow night (FRIDAY 1, so get your Glad Rags on, your fave Friday night Tipple and nibbles ready before show starts at 8pm
Live stream and play along for as little as £2 or donate whatever you wish.
Just spread the word to get other to join uou, why not play together virtually and make like we really are all back out, spending a night at the pub!!
