Eligibility

1.    The Prize Draw opens  00:01 GMT on 08.10.2024. The Closing Date of the prize draw is 23:59 on 12.11.24. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be eligible for the prize draw. 

2.    To enter the prize draw, entrants must visit the following website prior to the Closing Date and complete the form shown there ‘https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/cunard-million-makers-draw-for-the-princes-trust’.

3.    No employees of Carnival plc (including their suppliers or agents) may enter. 

4.    Entrants must be UK residents, aged 25 or over. Other than provided on the weblink shown above, no bulk or 3rd party entries accepted. Cunard Million Makers will not accept entries that are automatically generated by computer. 

How to Enter

5.    No purchase is necessary to enter this Prize Draw, although entrants may choose to pay to enter the prize draw through the paid entry route shown below. 

6.    Entrants may enter the Prize Draw through either of the following entry routes: 

a.    Paid Entry Route: Entrants must visit [https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/cunard-million-makers-draw-for-the-princes-trust] and select the number of entries shown and pay the corresponding entry fee.   

b.    Free Entry Route: Entrants must send their full name, telephone number and a valid contact email address to Cunard Million Makers at the following address:

To enter via the Paid Entry Route, entrants must agree to Crowdfunder’s terms of use available at: www.crowdfunder.co.uk/terms-conditions.

All entries submitted by the Free Entry Route must be sent by first class post or other recorded delivery service. All entries must be received prior to the Closing Date. 

7.    The Company will donate 100% of the profits raised to The Prince’s Trust. The total amount donated to The Prince’s Trust is expected to be £ [2,500] The Prince’s Trust is a registered charity incorporated by Royal Charter in England and Wales (1079675) and Scotland (SC041198).

(each a “Prize”, together the “Prizes”)

10.    [30] winners will be selected (each a “Winner”). Each Winner will be randomly allocated one Prize by Cunard Million Makers acting at their sole discretion. The Cruise Prize will be allocated to the first winner drawn. 

11.    Winning entries will be drawn at random from the valid entries received by Cunard Million Makers prior to the Closing Date. All Winners will be notified in writing by 9th December 2024 using the contact details provided when entering the Prize Draw.

12.    If a Winner does not respond to Cunard confirming their acceptance of a Prize within 14 days of being notified of their win, the Prize will be forfeited, and Cunard shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that Winner will have to respond to notification of their win within 14 days or else they will also forfeit the Prize). 

13.    If a Winner rejects a Prize, or if their entry is invalid or in breach of these terms, or if a Winner is unable to claim a Prize for any other reason, that winner's Prize will be forfeited, and Cunard Million Makers shall be entitled to select another Winner in accordance with these terms. 

14.    Other than the Cruise Prize and all Prizes consisting of non-tangible goods, Prizes will be delivered to Winners via tracked post. Winners will be provided with details of how to attend Prizes which are ‘experience prizes’, or which will be delivered on a specified date when contacted by Cunard Million Makers to inform them of their win. Winners must make their own way to the ‘experience prizes’ destinations.

Terms applicable to Cruise Prize

15.    Stateroom allocation for the Cruise Prize is at Cunard Million Makers’ discretion and subject to availability. 

16.    The winner must book the voyage which forms the Cruise Prize before 31st January 2025. Dates of Prize voyage may not be altered, once booked.

17.    Cruise Prize includes accommodation as above, on board main meals (excluding specialty restaurants for which a cover charge will apply), entertainment and most facilities on board. The Prize does not include drinks, onboard purchases, onboard spending money, transport from the port of Southampton and/or transport to any airport, travel insurance (adequate travel insurance is a condition of travel), excursions, luggage fees or other personal expenses incurred or gratuities.

18.    The Cruise Prize voyage is a free fare and the winner will not receive any additional entitlements, credits or increase in Cunard World Club loyalty status as a result of receiving the Prize. 

19.    All Prizes are non-transferrable unless expressly agreed by Cunard Million Makers. No cash alternative will be offered. 

20.    It is the responsibility of the winner of the Cruise Prize to ensure they and their guest have valid passports and travel insurance, meet all required travel requirements, and obtain any vaccinations and visas required to take part in the Cruise Prize.

21.    Travel on the Cruise Prize is subject to national and local travel public health restrictions.

22.    The Winner and any guest who travels on the Cruise Prize will be bound by, and subject to, Cunard’s booking conditions and policies which can be found at Cunard.com.

b.    Britvic Premier League Tickets Seats are predetermined. Tickets only, all other expenses and personal purchases excluded Stadium entry terms and conditions may apply 

c.    Fairfax - London sights Helicopter tour Subject to availability and winners must comply with terms and conditions of  T&C’s of Red Letter Day Experience. Ticket is valid till 1st July 2025. 

d.    Gin Prize – Bon Idyll Dates of attendance are subject to availability. Winners must contact Bon Idyll directly to book.  All guests must also be over UK legal drinking age of 18.

e.    Gin Prize - Bombay Sapphire Dates of attendance are subject to availability. Winners must contact Bombay Sapphire directly to book.  All guests must also be over UK legal drinking age of 18.

f.    Gin prize – Bombay Sapphire Dates of attendance are subject to availability. Winners must contact Bombay Sapphire directly to book.  All guests must also be over UK legal drinking age of 18.

g.    Laytons - Tutored fine wine tasting evening Winners will be sent contact details for Laytons, upon which they must contact Laytons directly to book. All guests must also be over UK legal drinking age of 18.

h.    Diageo- Johnnie Walker Experience in Edinburgh  Dates of attendance are subject to availability. Winners will be given contact details for Diageo who they must contact directly to book.  All guests must be over UK legal drinking age of

General  

24.    Cunard Million Makers’ decisions in relation to the administration of this prize draw, the selection of winners and the allocation of the Prizes will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

25.    Cunard Million Makers reserve the right to substitute the Prizes for prizes of equal or greater value and/or reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend or amend the prize draw or withdraw any Prize (with or without prior notice) due to reasons outside its reasonable control, or if reasonable commercial considerations make it necessary to do so.

26.    There are certain things for which Cunard Million Makers do not accept any liability to you. Cunard Million Makers cannot exclude or limit its liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, or loss caused by a false statement where the statement is made fraudulently. Otherwise, the exclusions described at clause 27 and 28 will apply.

27.    Carnival plc or Cunard Million Makers will not be responsible for (and will have no liability in connection with) the following occurrences, to the extent that they occur for reasons beyond Cunard Million Maker’s reasonable control:

a. any postponement or cancellation of the Prize Draw,

b. any changes to Prize(s) or the way in which they can be used;

c. any act or default of any third-party supplier.

28.    Cunard Million Makers does not accept responsibility for network, computer, hardware or software failure of any kind, which may affect the sending, receipt or processing of your entry.

29.    Refunds: Once made, any payments made in connection with an entry made via the Paid Entry Route will be non-refundable unless Cunard withdraws or cancels this Prize draw for reasons outside its reasonable control. 

30.    Cunard Million Makers will use the personal data you provide for the purpose of administering this prize draw and to facilitate the notification of winners and the redemption of the Prizes. By entering the Prize Draw you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information for this purpose.

31.    Personal data will be processed in accordance with Cunard privacy notice at https://www.Cunard.com/en-gb/advice-and-policies/privacy-notice.

32.    The surname and county of the winner will be available by sending an email including the name of the prize draw to [email protected]. If an entrant objects to their surname and county being made available, please contact Cunard on [email protected] before the closing date. In such circumstances, Cunard must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

33.    The promoter is Cunard Million Makers Team, an unincorporated group of Carnival plc employees (“Cunard”). Carnival House, 100 Harbour Parade, Southampton, SO15 1ST.

34.    This Prize Draw is governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

35. The Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms Inc (Facebook). By participating, you hereby release and hold harmless Meta Platforms Inc from any and all liability associated with this Prize Draw.
