An important historic building
I walk past this iconic building almost daily. Loving seeing it restored to its former glory !
This Walter Macfarlane and Co imperial crown will be the crowning glory of a world-changing iron-framed flax spinning mill
The Flaxmill is such an important building and I should like to think that I have played a small part in it's restoration.
Needs more publicity perhaps? Good luck.
Keep up the good work!
I love this building. I worked as a community midwife in the Ditherington area during the late 1980s - the crown especially gave me great joy, when passing by during those busy days.
Best of luck with the funding.
This is an important part of Shrewsbury's heritage.
Look forward to seeing the Crown lovingly restored!
A piece of personal history.
My favourite building as my family have both work and social connections with the Maltings ... close to my heart, as they were.
I grew up in Shrewsbury and want to do my part to preserve a landmark that has been there my whole life and dominates the local skyline.
It is so important to save our herritage - once it is gone - it's gone!
Wonderful project in our community
As a lifelong resident of Shrewsbury, I am pleased to support this project
I love the idea that I am contributing to preservation of our nation's heritage
Worthy cause. Hope you get there.
Good luck! Deserves to preserved for future generations :-)
Carry on the good work!
Used to see this every day growing up in Greenfields.
I am always delighted to support the maintenance of the heritage of the beautiful town of Shrewsbury.
