About Age UK Lancashire

Age UK Lancashire is the largest charity in Lancashire helping older people. We support individuals, families, & carers to ensure older people can live independently by offering a range of services such as Information & Advice, Dementia Support, Digital Inclusion, Support at Home, Short Term Help at Home, Veteran Outreach and much more. 

Many of our services are not funded, meaning we need to source external funding to ensure they keep running. 

As fundraisers take on the Cross Bay Walk they will be safeguarding the services we run meaning we can continue to help older people in Lancashire. 

Age UK Lancashire is a brand partner of the national Age UK and as such we are a separate charity raising funds to mange our local services. 

Cross Bay Walk 

The Cross Bay Walk is renowned by for its beauty. As walkers get to the middle of the bay they get a 360 degree look at the landscape of Morecambe Bay and the Lakes. 

The walk is guided by Michael and his team, who help thousands of walkers every year cross the bay. 

The walk starts at Arnside and finishes at Grange Over Sands.
