Hi, my name is Brennan, I am 11 years old and I love rugby. I have played for Crediton RFC in Devon for the past 3 years.
This September (2024) I will be moving into the U12s team. I am also a massive Harlequins, and England fan. When I'm not chucking an egg shaped ball around, I also do a bit of swimming.
On 30th August of this year (2024) I will be attempting a non stop 5k distance swim, my furthest distance yet.

Junior rugby tours are self funded, and can be expensive. Players and their families try and raise money through the seasons, to build up a "pot" so that when the team reach the U16 age grade, they are able to experience "going on tour". This is a huge opportunity and without fundraising it would be impossible for young players to be able to share in this experience.
The Rugby tour specialists say it best "The Junior Rugby Tour is a fantastic tradition of our game. It forms an integral part of a Rugby Players development & there really is nothing better than travelling with your mates to a foreign environment to test your abilities & forge friendships."
I don't know who will be in the team at that time, hopefully I will still be here, but I would like to be able to raise some money so that any player at that time can share in the experience no matter what their home money situation is.

All money raised will be passed onto Crediton RFC and will go into the teams tour fund and will be explicitly used to enable the players of that U16 team to experience a rugby tour. The money will help to pay for transport, accommodation, insurance, and go towards some amazing activities for the team to take part in.
Rugby pass explain this better than I can,
Rugby is a sport that has the power to bring people together, create a sense of community, and promote positive social change. From promoting inclusion and diversity to fostering a sense of national pride, here are some ways that rugby can have a positive impact on society:
Promotes Inclusion and Diversity
Encourages Healthy Habits
Fosters a Sense of Community
Provides Role Models
Fosters local and national pride
Community rugby teams are hubs in their local areas, They bring people together, they provide a shared experience. They forge lifelong friendships and memories.
Youth ruby tours not only provide young players an opportunity to develop on the pitch, but also as people. This has a knock on positive effect in the local community.
