Aim: Our aim is to create more career opportunities for women in need with creative talent in the art industry.
Who are we?
We are ArtistsFloor, an educational platform focusing on creating more career opportunities for women in need with creative talent. We have started our in house team consisting of 15 female teachers with different background and ethnicities who need to provide money for their households. At ArtistsFloor, we are a female led team and we focus on creating educational online art courses made by our talented teachers. Due to the positive impact the work has had on these artists and teachers, we would love to help more and more women secure a job in the art industry with a wage to support their family.
Our wonderful artists are very talented when it comes to art and because of this, they are able to create successful online courses for more people around the world. Their courses are helping thousands of budding artists improve their work and follow their dream career path in the creative industries.
We have provided our artists a complete equipped studio, and also we help all the teachers with their curriculum, course packaging and also we provide them fixed monthly payment for all their works and projects so it covers their life expenses.
About our idea
This idea first came about due to negative impact of COVID on people’s jobs and livelihoods. We wanted to be able to help and support those who were struggling financially. At the time, we were and still are creating online art courses and we realised we could provide more job opportunities. Finding a job in the art industry as an artist was already extremely difficult before COVID and now it's even harder with the reduced opportunities.
Recent news has shown that women, now especially, need more support and empowerment. So, we would like to provide more job opportunities for women so they can become financially stable. 15 women currently work with us who were previously in-between jobs and were struggling to pay their bills, now they are in a job that they love whilst earning a living.
Our vision
Our vision is to continue supporting our female artists whilst hoping to help more women secure a job in the art industry. In order to provide employment for our artists we need your help in raising funds to help purchase expensive art supplies. We want our artists to continue supporting their families and we cannot do this without you.
