Aim: Craft Tooting is expanding! Frankly, we need a bigger premise to survive.. and we've found the perfect location - but we need your help..
Heya
Mark here, most of you know me - hi! Now, we all know Craft Tooting could do with a bigger shop, extra seating maybe even some more food on offer than just crisps. Well, we have a new premise! Very, VERY exciting! 143 Mitcham Road was a dry cleaners which I walked home past after every shift in CT and used to think "that so looks like a craft beer shop, and right next to MUD and Goldfinch it would be such a good location".
Not to get too dear diary about it but, one day an email dropped saying it was available for rent.. with a catch. We'd have to buy the whole dry cleaning business with a big premium.
So we did. Ploughed in our savings, nabbed a big chunk of cash from the old man (cheers dad) and we had the keys. Having now sold off the inherited dry cleaning machines (for most likely a steal but what can you do) we are spending what we have left on the renovations and boy do we need more things that we thought! Straight away we built a cold store to keep stock and our kegs nice and cool and went and got the best damn coffee machine to serve up Allpress beans from.. but after spending and spending we still feel quite far off from finishing and rent is coming out every month so, Tooting, who's wants to help us by buying in to some of our carefully curated awesome crowd funding fun?!
