Sunrae Inclusive Dance offers dance classes to everyone regardless of their abilities. We cover West Oxfordshire and Cotswolds, as well as offering online classes and visiting care homes. But we are so much more then just a dance school. We provide a safe place for the most vulnerable of our community to meet new people, make new friends and learn new skills. All this helps to improve mental health and reduce social isolation.
We are a self funding, not for profit organisation who relies on community support to give our dancers the opportunities to attend classes. We have fun community classes at a grass roots level right through to the most ambitious individuals who want to compete internationally and represent their country.
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to dance and therefore we never turn anyone away. They will be given the same opportunities (and sometimes more) as those in mainstream classes with the adaptations required to participate based on the individuals needs and abilities.
The costs of offering these classes and opportunities is increasing and to keep costs down so everyone can take part we are looking to raise funds to help keep us going through the next year and beyond. We understand that times are hard for everyone and therefore understand most people won't be able to support us, but if you can share our story, or know a company who may be looking to sponsor a group or if you can spare a £1 we would be very grateful and the money will go to good use.
